TEACHING METHODOLOGY

We use different teaching methods keeping the students’ interests in mind. TeachNext is a digital classroom solution providing online and offline content for the students to utilize.

There are more than 100 classrooms that have a TeachNext digital board installed which enhance teaching capability and student learning.

Following the CBSE English curriculum, we adhere to all the official guidelines given by the CBSE board. In addition to this, we prescribe other private textbook publishers like NCERT, Oxford, & Macmillian. There are three different tracks for the high school +1 & +2 students. Each student can pursue any of the following groups:

Group 1 – English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry & Biology
Group 2 – English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry & Computer Science
Group 3 – English, Accountancy, Business Studies, Economics & Computer Science

ASSESSMENT METHODOLOGY

ACHS follows the uniform system of assessment & evaluation suggested by the CBSE. Kindergarten to standard V follows the three block test model which is spread across the entire academic year. Classes VI – VIII have been designed on a term assessment basis with a gradual increase in learning assessment as students move forward. This prepares the students to cover the whole syllabus of the academic year and face the challenges of class X board examinations and thus ensures the quality of education. The school provides a fearless, tension free, more meaningful and encouraging learning ambience, without compromising the seriousness of academic matters and discipline. Since the uniform system of assessment demands a congenial atmosphere; learning and assessment is done through well-designed activities in addition to Pen-and-Paper Tests that suit the lessons in the syllabus.
