ABOUTUS

Asian Christian High School was started in 1996 for the neighbouring towns and villages of Hosur. The school started with a vision of implementing moral values and a city-like education for the villages around ACHS.

Asian Christian High School was started in June 1996 by the Asian Christian Academy of India, a registered society under the Societies Act of 1860, as a major social outreach venture. This society is comprised of eminent personalities from all walks of life and is the apex governing body of the school.

ACHS received accreditation from the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) in 2000. ACHS is an English medium co-educational school, affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi (Affiliation No.1930159). The first order of affiliation was obtained in April 2000. The school was founded upon Christian principles in order to provide quality education for the all-round development of the children.

From a humble beginning with 225 students from Lower Kindergarten to Class II, this versatile school today has grown into a full-fledged High School with more than 3000+ students from Kindergarten to Class XII.

OUR HISTORY

Dr. Joy M. George, then the President of Asian Christian Academy, had a desire for the children from the surrounding villages to receive quality education just like the children residing in cities. Asian Christian High School was thus started in 1996 with facilities needed for such a school.
